Generation Give Festival

Generation Give Festival (Formerly African Youth Philanthropy Conference) is a flagship initiative of the African Youth Philanthropy Network (AYPN) that brings together Africa’s young philanthropists, changemakers, social innovators, and diaspora leaders to connect, collaborate, and celebrate their contributions to social impact. The festival serves as a dynamic platform for showcasing youth-led philanthropy, fostering partnerships, and advancing innovative approaches to giving and community development across the continent.

More than a conference, the Generation Give Festival is a movement dedicated to reshaping the narrative of philanthropy in Africa by recognising the power of young people as active contributors to social change. Through dialogue, networking, storytelling, learning experiences, and collaborative action, the festival inspires a new generation of givers while strengthening the ecosystem for youth-led philanthropy, collective action, and sustainable development across Africa and the diaspora. Based on the festival concept, it seeks to build a continental movement that connects, resources, and amplifies young philanthropists while advancing a shared agenda for African-led giving and social impact.
