We will engage participants to reflect on the how rather than the what of transformation. The event will create a space to engage members and actors personal and organisational transformation and outline the need to align missions and values across investments in the sector.

Together we will explore and capitalize on the synchronicities that make us stronger in collective actions to elevate the philanthropy sector in Ghana as a key stakeholder for development.

3. Empower

We will empower our members, actors, and allies to navigate existential threats and create sustainable solutions through a holistic, long-term approach.

4. Enable

We will focus on shifting members, actors and allies’ mindset of achieving results to enabling others – to spark deeper, broader, and faster change. The event discussion will not only help in creating an enabling environment for growth of philanthropy in Ghana and West Africa but will also challenge power dynamics through thinking about decolonisation, trust-based philanthropy, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and risk-taking.

5. Encourage

We will gather to nurture our relationships, strengthen our collaborations, and challenge our paradigms. Young people who are the future, intermediaries and communities are calling on us to move out of our silos to work with and for them to drive sustainable change.
